Tic Tac Toe at the outlawz

Happy Monday

This week at the Outlawz we are playing a game of Tic Tac Toe

Here is the grid

We have 2 lovely sponsors for this challenge

My card uses Deedee's image - A Beachy State of Mind

The images are pre-coloured and I cut them out with my newest toy the Brother Scan N Cut, wow that was just so easy and quick! The embossing folder is by Crafters Companion and is called Sunglasses, I gave this the Gelatos Treatment another new toy, so before we go any further I think I should explain that the reason I have not only these, but many other new crafting goodies is because of my lovely friend Nikki, who sadly has turned in her crafting apron due to her health, and has passed on to me a wonderful crafting stash. Ok back to the card, the sentiment is cut with Spellbinders - Labels 38 and the little faux enamel embellishments are melted Hama Beads, you can read all about how to do this at the lovely Christine Emberson's blog, I will say I tried Hobby Crafts own make of these beads, and they did not turn into lovely enamel dots,  but into little O's that look a lot like bubbles, and I am sure I will be using them in the near future on a project, these are made from genuine Hama beads.

I look forward to seeing your creations in the challenge.

613 Avenue Create - Moon Landing Anniversary

Happy Sunday

This week over at 613 Avenue Create we are celebrating the anniversary of the moon landing, now I know there are plenty of conspiracy theorists who say it never happened, for example the flag fluttering in the breeze, hang on there is no breeze on the moon! Whatever your feelings on the subject we are celebrating none the less, and you always have the option of anything goes!

There are two wonderful sponsors for this challenge

I have 2 cards for you this week using images from both sponsors

The first is a Bugaboo image - Beautiful Fairy Coloured

The large star is from a Sizzix thinlets set and the boarder is by Memory Box. The moon is the centre of the Spellbinders Inspire die - Western Sun.

My second card used the Drawn with Character image - Crayons, "You Color My World"

I coloured it with Copic markers and fussy cut the image, the stars are Spellbinders - Stars Five
and the "Dots" are from Docraft's Neon Range.

The sun is shining down today here in my little corner of the UK and we have a new

My dear friend and co-leader Linda W is hosting this weeks challenge, and our lovely sponsor is

My card uses the image JULIE JOPICS

I just fell in love with this image, and as I think she looks like she is in her PJ's the sentiment from Hampton Art fitted perfectly (and I have been waiting to use this sentiment for a very long time)
I coloured her with Copic markers and cut her out with SB - Classic Squares, the beautiful frame is a recent release from SB - Lovin' Diamonds. The flowers are from my stash, and the sentiment is cut out with SB - Classic Ovals.

613 Avenue Create

Happy Sunday

The weather here in my tiny corner of the UK is a little cooler today, but we are told there is a heatwave coming early in the week, but should only last a couple of days, I am told temperatures will exceed 30!

Now for the crafty stuff!

This week over at 613 Avenue Create , the theme is as always "Anything Goes" with the optional twist of using Roses and/or Pearls as the flower for June is the Rose and the birthstone is the Pearl.

We have several lovely sponsors for this challenge including

I have made the following card with Flower Art Prints from Crafty Secrets

The DP is from another of our sponsors this week

The set is called Birds & Blooms

I used the SB die Seed Packet, a long retired one I am afraid to feature the Roses for this card.

My next card uses the pre-coloured image from Bugaboo called Rose Monster

The sentiment is from my stash and the die cuts are SB - Roses and Thorns. I used SB Curved Squares to matt and layer both the image and sentiment.

I look forward to seeing your creations in the challenge
